Photogrammar

Photogrammar is a web-based platform for organizing, searching, and visualizing the 170,000 photographs from 1935 to 1945 created by the United States Farm Security Administration and Office of War Information (FSA-OWI). From 1935-1944, the FSA-OWI undertook the largest photography project ever sponsored by the federal government. The recipient of the first NEH Digital Humanities Start-Up Grant at Yale, Photogrammar uses GIS, data-mining, and other techniques to render the FSA-OWI archive legible in new ways.
