Julie Meloni is a PhD candidate in the Department of English at Washington State University. Her specialties are American Literature 1800-1945, Textual Studies, and Humanities Computing. Since 1994, Julie has worked in web application design and development, and since 2000, she has authored more than 15 editions of texts for Sams/Pearson covering numerous topics in web application development and programming languages. After completion of her PhD requirements in April, Julie will join the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab at the University of Victoria as the INKE postdoctoral fellow in Digital Humanities and Information Management.
